No fewer than five travellers have reportedly lost their lives in an accident along Osubi-Abraka Road in Delta State.
The accident which occurred at about 2 pm on Wednesday involved a Lexus jeep and a commercial vehicle.
It was learnt that the unfortunate incident happened when the Lexus jeep reportedly rammed into the Picnic commercial car just after Osubi community, near Warri.
Eyewitness reports said all passengers onboard the commercial car, said to be heading towards Abraka had died on the spot.
Confirming the incident, the state Police spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, said five people were confirmed dead in the accident.
He noted that investigation have commenced for more information into the incident.
