2 die while attending a wedding in Delta State

Two travellers reportedly lost their lives on Saturday following an accident that occurred along Eku-Sapele road in Delta state.

The victims were said to be heading for a wedding at Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State when the accident occurred.

According to an eyewitness account, the collision involving two vehicles happened due to speeding.

It was learnt that two male commuters involved in the accident died on the spot, while several others were injured, including a baby.

The victims involved in the accident was said to be indigenes of Oghara in the Ethiope West Local Government Area of the state.

“They were said to be headed for a wedding ceremony at Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of the state when the incident occurred,” the source said.
