Why I asked Ojukaye Flag-Amakree to leave my house – Asari Dokubo

Former Niger Delta agitator, Dokubo Asari says he once asked the former chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State, Ojukaye Flag-Amakree to leave his house.

Asari disclosed this in a Facebook live broadcast while chiding the Amanyanabo of Abonnema, King Disreal Gbogbo Bobmanual for conferring an honorary chieftaincy title on Governor Nyesom Wike.

Speaking further on the treatment meted out to the Chairman of the Port Harcourt Water Corporation, Doris Cowan during the chieftaincy title ceremony, he said that Kalabari does not deserve Mrs Cowan as she has impacted the Kalabari Nation more than Kalabari has impacted her.

He said Mrs Cowan opened her doors to Kalabari people and helped attract the first bridge that connects Kalabari to Port Harcourt.

According to him “It’s the same woman that Ojukaye(Flag-Amakree) sat in my house and called a prostitute, the same woman that made him rich.

“Immediately he said it, I asked him to leave my house”

However, Asari said he disagrees with Mrs Cowan’s position that zoning the 2023 gubernatorial ticket will not solve lingering issues in Rivers State.

He added that in every pluralistic society, zoning of political offices is necessary to give each unit a sense of belonging.

Dokubo noted that if the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP concedes its ticket to Tammy Danagogo or George Kelly, he will not oppose it.
