Nigeria’s minister of foreign affairs tests positive for covid-19

Geoffrey Onyeama, Nigeria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs has tested positive to Coronavirus.

Onyeama announced the news through his official twitter handle, @GeoffreyOnyeama on Sunday afternoon.

“Did my fourth COVID-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best,” the Minister said in his tweet.

He joins some of Nigeria’s top government officials who have tested positive for the virus.
