Protesters are marching to the Rivers State headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, demanding the declaration of the Saturday, March 9 Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.
The protest which started at the Polo Club in GRA is spearheaded by chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
INEC suspended the results collation over the safety of its staff.
According to the commission, its staff were abducted by security agents while others were threatened with violence.
But a clash between soldiers and police officers at INEC office in Port Harcourt was the final seal to results collation in the state.
Soldiers had ordered police officers drafted to the INEC office out of the premises but resistance by the police officer led to a heated argument leading to the suspension of the results collation.
The protesters are shouting Wike must go.
