Breaking: Atiku wins Rivers State with over 300, 000 margin

Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been declared the winner of the presidential election in Rivers State.

Declaring the results, Professor Aniefiok Essien, the presidential collation officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission said Atiku Abubakar polled a total 473,971 votes, while Muhammad Buhari, the presidential candidate for All Progressive Party APC polled 150,710 votes.

APC state agents led by Engineer Ngerebara Sampson accused the state collation officer of compromise for his failure to include the Emuoha Result that was stepped down by professor Essien following allegations of irregularities.
