Rivers man names new born twins after Wike and Atiku

Saveme Akpila, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abua/Odual local government area of Rivers State has named his set of twin boys after the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Mr Akpila defected to the PDP on Tuesday during the party’s campaign rally at Ayama, Abua. The campaign was also graced by Governor Wike and other party top guns.

However, Wike and Atiku were born while Mr Akpila was on his way home from the campaign.

Speaking to theportcitynews, a joyful and gracious Mr Akpila said the coming of the twin boys were a blessing and it was only better that they came on the day he dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the PDP.

According to him, it also signifies that the party will become victorious come February and March 2019.

“I can’t thank God enough. This is a sign of good things to come”
