The eleventh and final witness in the case involving suspected ritual killer, Ifeanyi Dike, has testified before the Port Harcourt High Court.

The final witness in his testimony in court tendered a sketch map of the escape route the suspect used to escape from custody after his first arrest.

The court after the presentation of the witness admitted the sketch map as an exhibit in the case.

Speaking to newsmen outside the court, the Director of Public Prosecution, Ibikiri Oturubio said the prosecuting counsel will now wait for the cross-examination of witnesses by the defense counsel.

Meanwhile, the lead counsel to the accused, Lezina Amegua during the eleventh witness testimony expressed concerns over the health and safety of his client, Ifeanyi Dike.

Lezina Amegua said that his client has been shackled in prison since August despite the fact that

the court is yet to found him guilty of any crime.

He, however, commended the court for granting his prayers of ordering the prison authorities to treat his client fairly pending when he is found guilty.

Our correspondent reports that Justice Adolphus Enebeli adjourned the case to 21st, 27th November and 10th December 2018 for cross-examination by the defense counsel.

Ifeanyi Dike is standing trial alongside Ugochukwu Nwaniro and Sergeant John Bosco for killing eight-year-old Chikamso Favour and dismembering her body.
