Port Harcourt: My wife has turned me into a cook – Pastor tells court.

A pastor of a new generation church has prayed a Rivers State Customary Court in PortHarcourt to dissolve the nine-year-old marriage between him and his wife.

Mr. Kingsley Chinwo, the petitioner sought the dissolution on the grounds of laziness and lack of care for their children by the wife, Ihunwo. He added that she was adamant and often failed to take corrections.

Kingsley told the court that the respondent does not take good care of the house and their two children.

“My wife is a lazy woman; she does not sweep the house, prepare food for the children or bath the children.

“I cook for the children,’’ he said.

Kingsley , therefore, prayed the court to dissolve their marriage and award custody of their two children to him.

The court president, Mrs Anthonia Ibinabo, however, adjourned the case till June 18, 2018 for further hearing.
