Meet The 2018 best Corp Member Of Batch A stream 1 In IMO State

…. As Rochas promises her instant job.

Loretta Ebere Umeotawara, a graduate of Federal polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State emerged as the best Corp member of batch A stream 1 in IMO state.

12th of April became a memorable day for Loretta when the Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, honoured her with the best corp member award among many men and women who served and passed out with her that same day.

Posted to St Patrick’s secondary school, Ozara in Imo State, as her place of primary assignment after the NYSC orientation, Loretta took her service to heart and worked tirelessly towards impacting knowledge to little children. She didn’t just stop as a Corp Member Teacher, she went further.

On Monday, 5th February 2018, Loretta flagged off a project for the students of St Patrick’s Secondary School, Ozara, Imo State. A project she called ‘Skill Acquisition Training.

The project lasted for two months. It’s a personal project which was targeted towards helping young people become independent.

Miss Loretta Ebere Umeotawara is a native of Anambra State and a graduate of Federal polytechnic Oko, also in Anambra State.

Apart from 10,000 Naira the governor gave to all the passing out corps member, the Governor also promise her 200,000 Naira cash prize and an instant job. This is the way to go.

When we asked the best Corp member how she felt after Governor Rochas Okorocha honoured her as the best corp member, she replied with these words.

“I thank the Almighty God for making this day possible, giving me the grace and intelligence needed to carry out this project for the good of the youths.

” I thank Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state and the NYSC leadership for making this reward possible. It’s a good sign that whatever we are doing, eyes are seeing us. I was called to serve, that’s what I just did”. She concluded.

We all look forward to the fulfillment of these promises from Governor Rochas Okorocha. One youth just got empowered by Governor Rochas Okorocha.
