Nigerians have reacted to the last weekend’s ward congress conducted by the ruling All Progressives Congress nationwide , with many showing their disapproval of the violence that characterized the congress.
There were reported cases of deaths while many others sustained life threatening injuries.
See reactions below….
If they could be this violent during their own primary election, won't they do worse things during the election proper?Â
INEC must be mindful of being used to manipulate the July 14 election in favour of APC. More so that they have by their conduct today, failed themselves.— Peter Ayodele Fayose (@GovAyoFayose) May 5, 2018
Watch APC delegates call Fayemi Ole (thief) at the APC primary in Ekiti today. His party members knows him very well, I hope Ekiti People are observing… Electing a thief as Governor Will be disastrous. pic.twitter.com/JSo3KrKDxE

The whole world can now see the so-called progressives. Ordinary primary election, Â the APC could not hold here in Ekiti. These people are hypocrites and enemies of democracy, masquerading as progressives.Their party is a house divided against itself, Â it's center will never hold.

APC ward chairman killed in Delta state
Thugs invade Ekiti APC congressAPC is synonymous with sorrow, tears and blood.

In Bauchi, Delta, Ekiti & Rivers APC primary elections & local congresses have been marked by violence.
Fighting, burning, & shooting. In Delta, one person was killed.
If we are experiencing these kind of chaos in-house, imagine what would happen during general elections.

The picture of Jeremiah Ogboveta is gruesome and a depiction of the kind of politics we should not be playing.
He died aspiring to be a Ward chairman in Ughelli, Delta state, his death is diminishing to all humanity and may his soul which found death in APC find peace in death.

APC’s congress of violence and death is just a taste of what to come at both the party’s national convention and the 2019 general elections!

At almost 9am this morning, I appealed to APC in this tweet not to let their Congress turn violent but as shown by examples from Rivers and Delta, violence is the APC political DNA and they’ve confirmed it in the Ekiti APC gubernatorial primaries much to their own shame. https://t.co/lnCDBTYmIX
