“I am thrilled by Engr. Jennifer Adighije’s achievements in such a short time. It is encouraging to have a competent woman leading this office and performing excellently,” Ekpo said.
He highlighted that her accomplishments align strongly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that reliable electricity supply is central to Nigeria’s industrialisation and socio-economic growth. “Without power, industrialisation stalls, and our homes cannot be energised. Seeing the improvements in the power sector gives me confidence that Nigeria is moving in the right direction,” he added.
Ekpo also applauded the NDPHC management team and acknowledged the Vice President’s leadership as Chairman of the company’s Board. “I appreciate her and her team for the excellent work they are doing, and I commend the Vice President for providing strategic guidance,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Adighije extended heartfelt greetings to Nigerians, urging unity and renewed hope for a more reliable and sustainable power sector.
She reaffirmed NDPHC’s commitment to efficient power generation, emphasizing collaboration among government, the private sector, host communities, and citizens. “By supporting the President’s vision for a revitalised power sector, we are investing in our shared future. Together, we will make sustainable electricity a reality,” she said.
