The “Budget of Revival” was presented to the ONELGA 9th Legislative Council and members of the Executive Council on Tuesday by Shedrack Chukwu Ogbogu, Chairman of Ogga/Egbema Local Government Area (ONEGGA).
This was disclosed in a statement made available on the state government website.
Presenting the budget, the key areas of the fiscal plan that Ogbogu said should be priority are strengthening human capacity, empowering young people and increasing funding for education.
Other options include the provision of standard healthcare facilities for residents, enhanced security, and significant infrastructural projects to sustain ongoing development in the local government area.

As he stated, the council chairman reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing operational tools was “essential” for ensuring that both the Legislative and Executive arms of government can effectively perform their duties.
He stated that the official vehicles have already been secured and will be given to council members on or before the budget is enacted into law, to enable efficient monitoring and oversight of council’s projects.
Ogbogu accompanied by his Deputy, Happiness Chioma Wokocha affirmed the administration’s dedication to collaborative governance, transparency, and swift grassroots development for the next year.
