The Returning Officer, Rosemary Ogu, announced that Ukalikpe polled 3,980 votes to secure victory.

Ogu stated that the declaration followed the upload of results from 86 out of 87 polling units to the INEC Results Viewing Portal, representing 98.85 per cent of the total results.

In the Khana II State House of Assembly bye-election, the Returning Officer, Angela Briggs, declared APC candidate Henrietta Bulabari the winner after she secured 7,647 votes, affirming that she met all constitutional requirements.
