In a poignant moment, Eze Gbakabaka paid glowing tributes to two late revered leaders of Rumueme: HRM Omunakwe Nyeche Nsirim (MON), the Apiti of Rumueme, whom he described as a courageous fighter for his people, and the immediate past Nyenwe-Eli, HRM Ndamzi Nsirim, JP, remembered as a quiet, principled, and firm voice for justice.

He called on the people of Rumueme to sustain their support for the Rivers State Government to attract more development and dividends of democracy to the area.

Responding, the Chairman and Traditional Prime Minister of Rumueme Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers, Nyerisi Mbam Engr. Amb. Larry A. Nyeche, expressed profound appreciation for Eze Gbakabaka’s consistent solidarity.

He affirmed that the historic ties between Rumueme and Evo kingdoms would continue to flourish on the foundation of mutual respect and cooperation.
