The Port City News (TCPN) reported that Fubara left the party and received his membership card on Friday, during which he pledged to ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.

The PDP National Working Committee (NWC) announced the dissolution of the state executive and the constitution of the caretaker committee in a statement signed by the National Organising Secretary, Theophilus Shan yesterday night.
