As the winner was awarded yesterday 10th November, with cash gift by Hon. Akuro Alfred Tobin, Chairman of Okrika Local Government Area, and exquisite, ready-to-wear outfit Courtesy of GLOWREEGOLD, it is clear that the competition was more than just a Celebration of dance – it was a tribute to the Wakirike people’s unique identity, their distinctive style, and their infectious energy.

Miss Chila Tamunoigbeinbia truly made her mark as the winner of the Wakirike Cultural Dance Competition 2025, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication despite being pregnant. Her remarkable performance has earned her the nickname “the pregnant dancer,” and she’s an inspiration to many.
