Burna Boy Announced As Swiss Sportwear Clubhouse President

Nigerian global music icon Burna Boy has taken his influence beyond the stage, stepping into the sportswear world through a groundbreaking partnership with Swiss sportswear giant On.

The Grammy award-winning artist has been unveiled as the brand’s new Clubhouse President, with a focus on tennis, under a multi-year global ambassadorship.

“Meet, @burnaboy, our new Clubhouse President. Together, we’re shaking up sports culture, one sport at a time.”

Born Damini Ogulu in Port Harcourt, Burna Boy rose to prominence with his Afro-fusion sound, blending Afrobeat, reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop into a unique style that has carried him to international stages. Over the years, he has achieved remarkable milestones, from winning a Grammy for Twice As Tall to headlining Glastonbury and selling out London’s stadiums.

His growing cultural clout has also made him a favorite for global brands. Burna Boy has previously fronted campaigns for Chivas Regal, Nike, and Star Lager, each collaboration reinforcing his role as a style icon and cultural ambassador. The deal with On takes this to new heights, positioning him at the intersection of music, sport, and fashion.
