Bay FC has announced that it has reached an agreement to transfer Nigerian international and star forward, Asisat Oshoala, to Al Hilal of the Saudi Women’s Premier League. Bay FC made the announcement on its website on Tuesday, September 2.

She signed two years deal with Al-Hilal. According to the club, the move concludes Oshoala’s time with them after just one season, where she made a significant impact as the top goal-scorer in the team’s inaugural campaign. The club added that Oshoala leaves Bay FC as one of the club’s all-time leaders in offensive records, having scored seven goals during the 2024 season.

Her notable contributions include scoring the first-ever goal in club history on March 17, 2024, and a crucial game-winning goal in the club’s first-ever playoff match. Matt Potter, Bay FC’s Sporting Director, expressed gratitude for Oshoala’s contributions.

“Asisat has been an incredibly important part of Bay FC history, not only with her impact on the pitch but also through the energy, professionalism, and kindness she brought every day,” Potter said.
