A key outcome of the engagement was the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in crucial sectors such as: aviation, foreign affairs, science and technology and agriculture.

According to a press release from the Presidency, these agreements are seen as vital for advancing Nigeria’s development agenda.

At the airport, President Tinubu was seen off by several officials, including Ambassador Carlos Sérgio Sobral Duarte, the Brazilian Secretary for Africa and the Middle East, and Ambassador Carlos José Areias Moreno Garcete, Brazil’s Ambassador to Nigeria.

Also present were Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and other government officials.

The departure ceremony featured a guard of honour led by Col. Cel Nicolas.
