Days after her discharge from court over the controversial Ibom Air incident, Comfort Emmanson has received a generous offer from Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Ossai announced the offer via social media, inviting Emmanson to Delta State for an all-expense-paid trip and a ₦500,000 monthly job opportunity, following her release from Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
“I’d like to extend an invitation for her to visit Delta State and unwind after her release from Kirikiri prison. She won’t be disappointed, as I will be giving her a good time,” Ossai wrote.
The package includes: Flight tickets to Asaba, accommodation in a five-star hotel, a comprehensive tour of Delta State and access to the Delta Social Media Summit on August 28
Ossai described Delta as the “Big Heart and Home of Global Tourism Hub,” and said the gesture was aimed at giving Emmanson a fresh start and an opportunity to explore the state’s economic prospects.

The offer follows Emmanson’s discharge by an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, where the Airport Police Command formally withdrew its five-count charge against her. The case had drawn national attention after Emmanson was accused of assaulting Ibom Air crew members and attempting to use a fire extinguisher as a weapon.
Her release has reignited debates over selective justice, especially in contrast to the lenient treatment of Fuji musician KWAM1, who was appointed an aviation ambassador after obstructing a flight.
Ossai urged anyone in contact with Emmanson to direct message him to facilitate the arrangements.
