Tinubu Applauds Nigerian Students for Global Academic Achievements

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, who achieved global recognition at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition held in London.


The Port City earlier reported that the young women were named champions in English language communication skills and debate.


Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was distinguished as the overall best in English language skills, while 15-year-old Rukayya secured the title of overall best in debate. Hadiza received the outstanding talent award, which came with a gold medal.

Tinubu commended the students for their outstanding accomplishments, stating that such achievements are a testament to the potential of Nigeria’s youth and signal a brighter future for the nation. He also praised their educational institutions, noting that their success reflects the quality of Nigeria’s education system and its ability to produce some of the world’s brightest minds.


The President reiterated his administration’s commitment to education as a key driver of national development.
He highlighted the government’s significant investments in the sector and the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to provide financial access to higher education for indigent students.


Tinubu encouraged the three champions to continue their studies with dedication and wished them ongoing success in their academic journeys.
