Nigerian music superstar Davido has sparked online discussions after unfollowing actress Iyabo Ojo on Instagram. The move comes in the wake of leaked WhatsApp messages in which Ojo allegedly accused the singer of insincerity in his support for the late singer Mohbad.
The controversy began when social media commentator VeryDarkMan shared a screenshot of a private conversation on Instagram, purportedly featuring Iyabo Ojo criticizing Davido. In the chat, the actress reportedly questioned Davido’s motives, suggesting that his involvement in seeking justice for Mohbad was merely a publicity stunt.

Ojo reportedly expressed frustration over Davido still following Naira Marley—an artist linked to the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s death—despite publicly advocating for justice. She stated, “My problem is not even the black whatever, it is Davido who flew down like he claimed to fight for justice, but he still dey follow Naira Marley. That means he was chasing clout.
