Pere Egbi Calls for Disqualification in BBN Season 10 Amid Rising Tensions

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has called on the show’s organizers to issue disqualifications following a series of heated altercations in the ongoing tenth season of the reality show.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Pere expressed concern over the escalating conflicts in the house, writing:

“People must chop disqualification for this house. At least one. How will you fight over chicken???? Madness!!!!!!!”

His comment comes just days into the season, which has already seen multiple confrontations among housemates. One of the most talked-about incidents involved Jason Jae and Victory, who reportedly engaged in a physical scuffle after a disagreement over food. The altercation saw both men fall to the ground before other contestants intervened.

In a separate incident, housemates Denari and Otega clashed during a poolside gathering, with Denari accusing Otega of taking grilled chicken from his plate. The verbal exchange quickly escalated, adding to the growing tension in the house.

Popular comedian Steve Chuks also weighed in, criticizing housemate Imisi for allegedly threatening fellow contestant Koyin with a fork and speaking Yoruba during an argument, both of which violate BBNaija’s rules.

“Imisi suppose collect 2 strikes sha, the speaking of Yoruba and the threats that she will stab someone???? C’mon!!!” Chuks tweeted.

BBNaija rules prohibit physical violence, threats, and the use of languages other than English. Violations typically result in warnings, strikes, or disqualification.

With 29 contestants competing for a grand prize of ₦150 million, Season 10 has already delivered intense drama and emotional outbursts. While Big Brother has yet to issue any formal disciplinary action, Pere’s remarks reflect growing pressure from viewers and former housemates for swift enforcement of the show’s code of conduct.

As the season unfolds, fans are watching closely to see whether the tension will lead to the first disqualification of the year.
