ONELGA Rallies Behind Fubara: Ward Coordinators Declare Support for Peace Initiative

In a significant display of unity and support, former ward coordinators of the Simplified Movement from the 17 wards and six geopolitical zones of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) have thrown their weight behind the peace-driven leadership of suspended Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.

The gathering, hosted by former ONELGA Chairman, Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru, was a landmark event that brought together grassroots leaders to demonstrate their loyalty to the ongoing peace process. Prince Umejuru praised Governor Fubara’s commitment to stability, describing him as a leader who has earned the people’s love through his capacity and character.

Prince Umejuru also lauded suspended Deputy Governor, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, for her motherly strength and consistency in the journey towards lasting peace in the state.

Former leader of the forum from Ndoni ward 13, Hon. Kingsley Okwuosa, emphasized that Governor Fubara’s leadership has ignited fresh expectations among the people of Rivers State. He expressed confidence that the governor’s full leadership presence in Government House would be reaffirmed, and commended Hon. Umejuru for hosting a “politically strategic gathering” that would inspire confidence and fortitude in the face of political distractions.

Okwuosa also praised Umejuru’s charismatic leadership style and his consistent dedication to advancing the political consciousness of the people of ONELGA. The gathering was seen as a major show of solidarity and renewed political alignment, with the ward coordinators declaring unwavering support for Governor Fubara’s peace-driven leadership.
