Rivers United Unveils NPFL’s Best Jersey

Rivers United, Rivers state’s sole representative in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has officially introduced their much-anticipated kits for the 2025/26 season. The big reveal happened on Saturday at the club’s nicely set up headquarters in Port Harcourt, and it attracted a large number of fans, local journalists, and club staff. This event was a big deal for the team, marking the start of the new season and showing how committed the club is to doing well both in matches and in other areas.

The main highlight of the event was the new home kit, which has already been getting a lot of attention from supporters.

The jersey features a striking blue and white design that honors the club’s history while looking fresh and energetic. Made from high-quality polyester jacquard 3D fabric, the kit is a major improvement in both quality and style. This fabric designed by owu is known for being strong and comfortable, with detailed, carefully made patterns that make the jersey look even better and show off the team’s craftsmanship.

The 3D texture gives it a more refined lookand helps players stay cool and movefreely during tough games. The jersey features a vibrant blue base color, accented with dynamic white geometric patterns that create a striking, modern design. The patterns consist of sharp, angular lines and shapes, giving the jersey a bold and energetic appearance. The collar is white with a subtle V-neck design, adding a clean contrast to the blue fabric.

The sleeves are adorned with a unique triangular pattern near the cuffs, enhancing the jersey’s detailed aesthetic. On the left chest, the Rivers United FC logo is prominently displayed, featuring a white circular emblem with the club’s insignia, including a stylized dolphin and shark with the team name. The overall design combines cultural elements with a professional sports look, making it both visually appealing and representative of the club’s identity.

Rivers United did well in the last season, finishing as runners-up in the NPFL, which shows their talent, hard work, and rising status in Nigerian football.

This result has given the club’s leaders, players, and fans more hope as they prepare for the new season. The 2025/26 season will begin on Friday, August 22, and Rivers United is coming into the competition with more energy and a clear goal to win the NPFL title. With their new kits symbolizing pride and togetherness, the team is ready to make a big impact and continue their recent success throughout the season.
