Rivers State Sole Administrator, Retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, has officially inaugurated the Chairman and Members of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC.
The inauguration, held at Government House in Port Harcourt, saw Michael Odey from Cross River State sworn in as Chairman of the commission, alongside six other esteemed members.
The inauguration, which marks a significant milestone in the state’s electoral process, comes even after an alleged Court Order barring the Sole Administrator from Inaugurating members of the commission.
