Just under two weeks after stepping down from his role as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje has been inaugurated as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The ceremony took place in Abuja on Wednesday, marking a swift transition for the former Kano State governor.
Gbenga Saka, the Special Adviser on Digital Media to the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, shared a video of the inauguration on his X handle, confirming the new appointment.

Ganduje’s resignation from the ruling party’s top leadership position occurred on 27 June, where he cited ‘urgent and personal matters’ as his reason for vacating the post.
His resignation led to Ali Dalori assuming the role of acting national chairman.
