Rivers Police Declare 32 Individuals Wanted For Criminal Conspiracy Among Other Ill Acts

The Rivers State Police Command has declared 32 individuals wanted over their alleged involvement in a coordinated attack against the Sole Administrator of Ahoada-East Local Government Area, Hon. Goodluck Iheanachor.

Recall that on 20 June 2025, the Ahoada-East sole administrator was attacked.

According to a statement issued by the Command spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko on Sunday, the incident took place at the Ahoada-East Council Secretariat, where the Sole Administrator was reportedly assaulted, injured, and forcefully made to sign documents under duress.

Iringe-Koko added that Hon. Iheanachor’s personal belongings, including mobile phones and important documents, were also stolen during the attack. He is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained.

Among those declared wanted are Mr Hector Ekakita, Chief Security Officer of Ahoada-East LGA, and Mr. Aloni Olodi, the Local Government’s Chief of Staff.

The police say both men, along with about 30 others, ignored previous invitations for questioning and have now been formally listed as wanted persons.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Olugbenga Adepoju, who issued the declaration, warned that anyone shielding or aiding the suspects would be treated as an accomplice and face legal consequences.

He urged the suspects to turn themselves in at the Police State Headquarters on Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, without delay. The police also appealed to the public for useful information that could help track down the individuals.
