Manchester United, AC Milan Target Arokodare

Arokodare

Premier League giants Manchester United and Serie A side AC Milan have both joined the race to sign Super Eagles and KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare.

United are keen to bring the Nigerian forward to Old Trafford, while Milan are also working to secure his services for a move to San Siro this summer.

According to Soccernet.ng, Arokodare has given United the green light for a potential summer move. He is reportedly being considered as an option for Ruben Amorim’s squad should they fail to land their top targets, including Victor Osimhen, Dusan Vlahovic, and Jonathan David.

Speaking in an interview with SportsBoom, the 24-year-old revealed that his dream club has always been Real Madrid, but he expressed a strong desire to join United as he has been a lifelong fan of the Red Devils.

Arokodare had an impressive 2024/2025 season, scoring 23 goals and providing seven assists in 45 appearances under Thorsten Fink. His prolific form earned him the Belgian Pro League Golden Boot.

Meanwhile, Football Tuttosport reports that Igli Tare is working to offload Belgian international Divock Origi in a bid to bring Arokodare to Italy.

The Nigerian international has also been linked with Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Arokodare joined Genk from French side Amiens SC in January 2023 for a reported fee of €5 million.
