Super Eagles Trio Set to Launch ‘The Culture League’

Super Eagles stars Victor Boniface, Frank Onyeka, and Wilfred Ndidi are preparing to launch a new talk show titled “The Culture League,” which aims to seamlessly integrate the realms of football, music, fashion, and film. This innovative blend of dialogue and entertainment will create a platform where sports, art, and culture intersect, highlighting the creativity and talent of Nigeria’s most vibrant voices.

The Culture League is a weekly program that features candid discussions between Nigerian footballers and leading entertainment figures from music, film, fashion, and more. Hosted by the engaging trio of Super Eagles stars, the show presents a refreshing combination of humor, authenticity, and profound insights into the lives of Nigeria’s most prominent personalities.

From viral incidents to behind-the-scenes anecdotes, The Culture League encapsulates the energy and diversity that define the contemporary Nigerian identity. With an emphasis on all-Nigerian talent, the show honors the rich culture, creativity, and influence of Nigerians across various sectors, showcasing how local ingenuity has emerged as a global phenomenon.

“The Culture League is more than merely a talk show; it serves as a mirror of our culture and our generation,” states Esse Akwawa, CEO of Webek Studios. “We aimed to create a space where footballers, artists, and creatives can express themselves freely, connect across different fields, and motivate the next generation of Nigerian talent.”

“Edith Nwekenta, Creative Director at Webek Studios, adds, ‘The Culture League combines the excitement of the locker room with the sincerity of backstage experiences into a single venue. It embodies the type of show that resonates with how audiences wish to engage today — through authentic individuals, genuine narratives, and an unapologetically Nigerian perspective.'”

The program will host a wide array of guests, including Basketmouth, Bovi, Odumodublvck, Osas Ighodaro, Falz, and VJ Adams, who will partake in open discussions regarding their lives, experiences, and viewpoints. Conversations will explore themes such as fame, family, identity, and the convergence of sports and entertainment.

Created by Webek Studios in partnership with Kini Media Group, The Culture League signifies a collective dedication to audacious, pertinent, and universally impactful African content. Scheduled to premiere on July 11, 2025, this program aims to leave a substantial mark on Nigeria’s entertainment industry and beyond.
