Premier League Unveils 2025/26 Fixtures as Champions Liverpool Open Against Bournemouth

The Premier League has released the fixtures for the 2025/2026 season, with reigning champions Liverpool set to kick off their campaign at home against Bournemouth, who finished ninth last season. The match will take place at Anfield on Friday, 15 August.

The fixture list, published on Wednesday, confirmed that the champions will raise the curtain on the new campaign with a home game.

Manchester United, who endured a disappointing season and finished 15th, will host last season’s runners-up Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday, 17 August.

Newly promoted Sunderland, returning to top-flight football for the first time since the 2016/17 season, will host West Ham United. Fellow newcomers Leeds United and Burnley face tough opening fixtures against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.
