Daddy Freeze Joins ‘The Honest Bunch’ as Nedu’s Replacement

Controversial media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, widely known as Daddy Freeze, has officially become a co-host of The Honest Bunch. The announcement was made on Sunday, June 15, through the podcast’s official Instagram page, which shared a new promotional poster featuring the broadcaster.

The Honest Bunch just got more unfiltered. Get ready for hotter takes, deeper convos, and unapologetic honesty. Say hello to our latest addition @daddyfreeze,” the caption read.

Daddy Freeze also confirmed his new role on his personal Instagram page, declaring: “A new era has begun.”

Though the announcement did not directly state that Daddy Freeze was replacing Nedu Wazobia, his addition comes nearly four months after Nedu exited the show following a major controversy.

It can be recalled that, social media critic Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, had accused Nedu of exploiting up-and-coming female entertainers in exchange for appearances on the podcast. The allegations surfaced after a heated episode where former Big Brother Naija housemate DeeOne claimed that VeryDarkMan was gay.

In response, VeryDarkMan threatened to release a list of names Nedu had allegedly mentioned, further accusing him of sexual misconduct. Nedu later addressed the controversy in a press briefing, announcing his decision to step down as co-host.

At the time of this report, Nedu has not publicly commented on Daddy Freeze’s addition to The Honest Bunch.
