Nigerian Super Falcons defender Glory A. Ogbonna has officially announced her departure from Turkish football club Beşiktaş J.K. The left full-back, who spent three seasons with the Istanbul-based club, shared the news via a statement released on her personal Facebook page today.

Ogbonna’s announcement expressed deep gratitude to the club and its community. “I just want to use this medium to appreciate this wonderful club for how they made me feel at home during my three-year stay with them,” Ogbonna stated, reflecting on her time in Turkey.

“I want to thank my teammates, technical team, board members, and the fans for their support both in good and in bad times. You all always make sure that love leads. Thank you all, and I wish the club a wonderful season from now onwards, one love Beşiktaş ❤️🦅🦅🦅.”
