The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has pledged continuous support for the people of Niger Delta’s while congratulating the traditional ruler of Okochiri Kingdom, His Royal Majesty King Ateke Tom, as he clocked 61.
The celebration, held at the King’s palace in Okochiri, Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State, was attended by notable figures, including Dr. Otuaro, who joined others in honouring the respected monarch.
In his tribute, Otuaro described King Ateke as a symbol of peace and unity, whose leadership has positively influenced the socio-economic growth of his community and the Niger Delta at large.

He acknowledged the monarch’s contributions to regional peace and development, particularly through his support for initiatives aimed at stabilising the region.
He emphasised that the Presidential Amnesty Programme continues to prioritise human capital development across the region, with interventions in formal education and vocational training across sectors such as aviation, maritime, and agriculture.
Otuaro also reaffirmed the programme’s commitment to gender inclusion, noting that women in the Niger Delta are increasingly benefitting from empowerment initiatives tailored to enhance their roles in community advancement.
Underscoring his focus on results over distractions, the PAP Administrator urged all stakeholders to remain committed to peace, which he said is essential for meaningful development to thrive.
He concluded by expressing appreciation to King Ateke for his ongoing support and prayed for his continued good health, strength, and impactful reign.
