Van Nistelrooy Faces Sack Threat at Leicester, Replacement Emerges

The future of Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s was tested after a catastrophic fate in charge of Leicester City, who saw them relegating to the championship.

As per the report, Van Nistelrooy’s has just two more years left in the contract he signed, but the club leaders are ready to pathways with him, with the likes of Martin ready to replace him.

The report has it that Leicester City are looking for a quick solution while they started planning for life in the second championship after three years.

However, people understand that the Board of Directors wants to appoint an experienced manager to promote the championship – a miracle that Martin achieved with Southampton in the 2023/2024 campaign.

It is claimed that Martin was fired by Southampton in December and only 16 matches from the Premier League season after scoring 13 losses. Martin’s pathing ways from St Mary outlet came a few weeks after Van Nistelrooy replaced Steve Cooper at King Power Stadium.

Leicester City were one point clear of the last three people at the meeting time, but a series of terrible forms allowed them to lose 16 matches, 18 matches played in the period from December to February.

On that note, some unwanted record followed while Leicester became the first side of the best levels of English football to lose eight matches at home without scoring.

However, it will also be pertinent to note that Van Nistelrooy only became the second manager in the history of the Premier League to lose eight consecutive home games in the competition, after Daniel Farke made in September 2021 with Norwich City.

The foxes were defeated 1-0 against Liverpool in April and made nine matches on the Bounce at the end of their supporters before the 2-0 victory over the Saints finally ended the drought early this month.

Dutch people monitored an improvement in the model while the season ended, putting seven points in the nine possible points before moving to a 2-0 defeat in Bournemouth on the last day of the season.
