Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shattered records by becoming the first female artist from Nigeria to amass an impressive 1 billion views on YouTube.

With this milestone, she has officially surpassed Yemi Alade’s previous record of 805 million views, securing her place as the most-viewed female Nigerian artist on the platform.

According to reports, the 23-year-old star achieved this feat with the help of her hit single ‘Rush’, which alone garnered over 450 million views and earned a Grammy nomination.
