Navy Conducts Free Medical Outreach for Over 1,500 Rivers Residents

The Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder has provided free medical care to over 1,500 residents of Rumuolumeni Community in Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State.

The one-day outreach offered malaria and urine tests, deworming, Vitamin A, consultations, HIV awareness, medications, and mosquito nets for children and pregnant women. Residents were also screened and treated for diabetes, hepatitis, malaria, and high blood pressure.

Commander of NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Cajethan Aniaku, said the event is part of the Navy’s corporate social responsibility under Operation Delta Sanity II and aligns with the vision of the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla.
