Governor Fubara Commissions Remodeled Okrika Grammar School, Reaffirms Commitment to Education and Development

In line with his administration’s commitment to focus on Agriculture, Health and Education in 2025, Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has commissioned the remodeled Okrika Grammar School in Okrika Local Government Area. 

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Fubara said that the historic importance of the school and the need to provide quality education for river people necessitated the completion of the project. 

The governor said that despite the political situation of the state, his administration will always provide the best for the people of the state and urged the Management of Okrika Diocese to ensure that the facilities put in place are effectively managed.

Governor Fubara, while promising to put together a team of experts that would look into the issue of shoreline encroachment and protection of the area, also called on other parties involved in the implementation of the Supreme Court ruling to put the needs of the people first to ensure peace and development of the state.
