Police Seek Public Assistance to Reunite Found Child with Family

The Rivers State Police Command is calling on the public to help locate the parents or guardians of 14-year-old Oluchi Chisom, who was found wandering along NTA Road, Port Harcourt.

According to a police statement, Oluchi, who hails from Otu Ocha Village, Umuoba Anam, Aguleri, Anambra State, was rescued by a Good Samaritan and taken to the Ozuoba Police Station. She informed officers that she lives with her guardians but does not know their names or address.

However, she expressed a strong desire to reunite with her parents, who are identified as Mr. Ifeanyi Jide Ofor and Mrs. Chinasa Jide Ofor.

The Rivers State Police Command is urging anyone with information about Oluchi’s family to contact the Police Public Relations Officer at 08036219523 or visit the Ozuoba Police Station.

“We appeal to members of the public to assist in reuniting Oluchi with her family. Any relevant information will be greatly appreciated,” the statement read.
