PhD, Masters Students To Receive 500,000, 200,000 Naira As Rivers Speaker Approves Scholarship Grant

Postgraduate students from Bonny Constituency will benefit from the educational intervention scheme of the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Victor Oko-Jumbo.

This is as the Speaker approved to support PhD students with a grant of 500,000 naira and Masters Students with 200,000 naira.

The grant will cater to 6 PhD students and 12 MSc students of public universities in Nigeria who are in full-time study and have gone beyond the first year of their respective programs of study.

The intervention is intended to relieve the academic burden of postgraduate students towards contributing to the human capital development of Bonny Constituency and Rivers State.
