Visa Troubles Keep Oshoala Out of Super Falcons’ French Clash

Port Harcourt– Nigerian football fans were met with disappointing news as Asisat Oshoala, the nation’s football darling, was ruled out of the Super Falcons’ upcoming friendly against France. The 29-year-old forward, a key player for both club and country, was unable to join the squad due to visa renewal issues in the United States.

Interim head coach Justin Madugu confirmed the news, expressing his disappointment at the situation. “Unfortunately, her (USA) visa and work permit expired, and she’s in the process of renewing them. Until these are finalized, she’s unable to join us for the friendly in France,” Madugu explained.

Oshoala’s absence is a significant setback for the Super Falcons. Her goal-scoring ability, leadership qualities, and experience have been invaluable to the team over the years. Her absence will undoubtedly impact the team’s attacking prowess and overall team dynamics.
