Nollywood Star Charles Okocha Set To Tie The Knot

In a surprise move, Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe2pac or Phenomenal, announced his upcoming marriage on Instagram today, November 5th, 2024. The actor, who has two children from previous relationships, shared adorable photos with his fiancée, introducing the wedding hashtag #MICHARLES2024.

This news comes as a shock, given Okocha’s previous reservations about marriage. In an earlier interview, he expressed skepticism due to the high divorce rate, stating:

“People you look up to are getting divorced… how do you want me to get into this marriage thing? The truth is I have never been married in my life and I am a happy man. You and I know what is going on these days, you see a couple married for a couple of years and next, they are divorced. People you see as role models are getting divorced and when you see them you are like what is going on? These are people you have been looking up to and now they are divorced, how then do you want me to get into this marriage thing?”
