In a groundbreaking move, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) leadership hosted a pioneering send-off ceremony for 20 dedicated staff members who retired between 2019 and the present.

This unprecedented event not only celebrated their remarkable service but also provided financial benefits, setting a new standard for employee recognition. The esteemed retirees, including former Director of Competitions Bola Oyeyode, former Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria National League Lawrence Katken, and former Director of Finance & Admin Babatunde Akinsanya, among others, were honored for their tireless contributions to the Federation.
