The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced the arrest of a 57-year-old most wanted Lagos drug lord, Sulaiman Jimoh, who operated in Mushin, Lagos State.
After evading arrest for years, Jimoh, known as Temo, was pinned down at Igbarere Street, Mushin, approximately around 10 a.m. on July 22, 2024, following NDLEA’s surveillance teams.
The anti-drug agency mobilised 50 personnel while Temo attempted to flee with his Mercedes Benz SUV GLE 350, marked 01G-300G, but was overpowered after a clash.
Meanwhile, the anti-drug agency seized 14,524.8 kg of Ghana Loud, a strong strain of cannabis sativa, in the Ojuelegba area, while 8,852 kg and 252 kg of Loud were also intercepted at Eleko Beach, Lekki, and Mushin in Lagos on May 4, 2023, and July 26, 2023, respectively.

The anti-narcotic agents also recovered the Mercedes-Benz SUV the suspect drove while attempting to evade arrest.
Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa, NDLEA Chairman, appreciated the team’s efforts and professionalism in apprehending the notorious drugpin.
The NDLEA chairman charged them to continue in the fight against drug dealers and issued a stern warning to those involved to desist from the illegal business.
