Presidential election: Supreme Court fixes Thursday for judgments

By Brave Dickson

Supreme Court has fixed Thursday, October 26 to deliver judgments on the appeals brought before it by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi against President Bola Tinubu.

After the presidential election petition tribunal dismissed the petitions of the PDP and the LP presidential candidates, the duo proceeded to Supreme Court to challenge the verdicts of the tribunal.

Obi and Atiku on Monday requested the apex court to set aside the judgments of the tribunal. But Tinubu urged the court to uphold the judgments of the tribunal.

It is left for the Supreme Court to determine the election case which a reliable official of the apex court had told our correspondent will occur on Thursday.
