The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State, Tonye Cole, the Leader of APC in Rivers West Senatorial Candidate, on Saturday attended the burial of Chiosom Lennard.
Lennard, the Director of the Tonye Cole campaign organization in Ahoada West was shot dead by thugs loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party on March 18 governorship election day.
Others who attended the burial include Asita Honourable; APC Senatorial Candidates for Rivers East and Rivers South East Districts, Engr. Bisi Nwankwo and Amb. Oji Ngofa.
Lennard, an estate surveyor was laid to rest in his hometown Ubeta, Ahoada West LGA.
He previously served on the Board of Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority (GPHCDA) between 2011 and 2015, and was a former Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC in Ahoada West.
He was 45 years old.
