Just in: Taxi crushes motorcyclist to death at Choba

A hit-and-run taxi driver has crushed a motorcyclist to death along Choba bridge in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State on Monday

Confirming the incident to our correspondent, a leader of Choba park, Mose Ibidubo said, “yes it was true that a vehicle knocked our member to death this morning at Choba bridge.

“The victim used to work with us in this park and was called to come home that cultists had killed his brother.

“He took his motorbike and began his journey home but was unfortunately knocked down by a taxi driver who was driving one way.

“We used to call him OSPAC as his nickname and he hailed from one of the communities in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.”

Another eyewitness who saw the incident while commuting from Degama Local Government Area to Port Harcourt said the accident generated crowd and panics within the scene of the accident.

Though, the full name of the victim could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
