Court grants Farah Dagogo bail

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has granted the Federal Lawmaker representing Degema-Bonny constituency, Farah Dagogo bail.

Dagogo was charged before a magistrate by the Rivers State Government for allegedly disrupting the state and national assembly screening exercise of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

He was later remanded in prison and his bail application was not heard because of ill-health.

But Justice E A Obile in an exparte application filed by Dagogo ordered the Commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of CID Port Harcourt, Deputy Superintendent of Police Commander police team government house, Attorney General of state and Chief Magistrate AMADI NNA to release the applicant from police detention and restore his liberty.
