Mkpurimmiri not only rampant in South East- NDLEA spokesman

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Rivers State Command, has decried the increase in the illicit use of drugs by citizens, especially youths.

In an exclusive interview with TPCN on Thursday, the spokesperson of the NDLEA in the state, Emmanuel Ogbumgbada, lamented the rate at which youths have clung to hard drugs, which he said could mar their future if not tackled.

He explained that it is the responsibility of families and concerned citizens to educate the younger generation on the dangers of these hard substances such as crystal meth, also known as mkpurummiri, which he said causes a range of adverse effects on users.
